Gutmunchers

by Ghastly McNasty

Gutmuchers Zombie Comic

If you’ve yet to discover the weekly online web comic Gutmunchers then you are now in for a treat. Just when you think that the Zombie Apocalypse market is saturated to the point of expolsion Gutmunchers carves itself a niche within the genre and owns it big style.

John Shatzer and Richard Duda have created a fabulous surrealist comedy in which the dead rising from their graves is good news because the uber-nerd survivalists were right and are the only people ready to deal with the situation.

Check out the first episode below to wet you appetite.

I have to say the short weekly installments are a great format for a zombie comic. Just like the kind of comic strips you would read in any national newspaper. It’s fairly easy to come up with a funny concept but somehow Gutmunchers manages to keep it funny week after week after week.
