I never read the book nor seen the movie. So I bought the first issue and I liked it. It was very graphic. I got real curious about the novel, that I bought the novel. Over 1000 pages long. Definitely not portable!

It would be interesting if they ever do a comic book series of The Shining or Salem's Lot.
